Popup Vaccine Clinic

Discount mobile vaccination clinic offered in partnership with PAWS Health Partners. The experienced Veterinary team will provide annual vaccinations at a discounted rate with no exam fee. The mobile vaccination clinic is conveniently located at Barx Parx and a portion of all vaccinations will go to benefit the Barx Parx Foundation, our 501c3 that helps local Las Vegas rescue partners with supplies and funds they need to operate.

The following vaccines are offered:

1st vaccine is $35
Each additional core vaccine is $15.
(For example, Rabies is $35, Bordetella $15, DA2PP is $15; OR DA2PP $35 and Bordetella $15)
Optional Vaccines are $35 each and include CIV (influenza) and Leptospirosis

PAWS Health Partners is bringing a new flare to the veterinary industry by borrowing concepts from thought leaders and industry disruptors to make things a little more convenient, a little less of a headache and a lot more pro-pets. The first in Las Vegas to combine telehealth, mobile veterinarian care and in-clinic under one metaphorical roof to exponentially improve access to care. And making pricing transparent so you know what you get before you ever step in the door. This recently changed. Our newest family member a 5 month old boxer needed some friends and exercise. I decided to take a tour of the nearby Barx Parx to see what they were all about. From the moment my husband and I walked in the door we were greeted by a staff of friendly people. The entrance was very clean, and I couldn't wait to see and hear more. They have an area we could go and play with our little energetic pup when the Vegas weather is so hot, and stay cool in the air condition building. We went and saw where and how they boarded the pets. I loved the cage free idea. I have since used their services for both daycare & boarding and I can say my little guy absolutely loves it there and all the staff as do I. I am completely confident he will get the best care and be treated so well when I'm not there. The building is always clean, the prices are wonderful and they always have something fun going on, for you and your furry friends. There are no crates and there’s always an employee with them supervising them during playtime. Barx Parx also has special events days, crafts and picture days for the dogs to keep them entertained. We also had to Board them and I couldn’t have been more pleased with their care. Barx also has video cameras so that you can check on your dogs at any time of the day or night. 			It’s tough to find a well rounded placed that offers so many things and takes good care of your dog…. read moreIt’s tough to find a well rounded placed that offers so many things and takes good care of your dog. But we hit the jackpot with Barx Parx. Plus, during a LV summer, this is the spot. Barx Parx offers social hours, Friday happy hours, in-door park, daycare, boarding, training, and even grooming. They offer memberships for the in-door park, which gives you discounts on the other amenities. Your dog has to do a behavior assessment to determine if they would be a good fit and are not aggressive with other dogs. Once that’s completed, your dog is good to go coming to the in-door part where you can hangout and play with your dog. We did the second assessment, where you leave your dog for two hours and they see how they do independently, which determines if it’s a good fit for daycare and boarding. Once passing the initial assessment, your dog is given a seven consecutive day pass to use at the park. When you walk in, you and your dog are instantly greeted by a very welcoming staff. They check to see if your dog is feeling well and has any mouth sores. Everyone has been so nice to Edamame and gives him a lot of love and attention.  Edamame used his free week pass at the dog park. There is a big dog and a small dog section. He was allowed to go in both sides. Edamame loved playing with the big dogs and got more comfortable as the week went on. The staff is attentive to the dogs’ needs, keeps every dog in line, makes sure every dog is playing well together, picks up their poop, and offers water and treats.  Daycare is a good option when you have long days at work. It allows your dog to keep occupied and enjoy their day without being cooped up at home or in a crate. Dogs are grouped by personalities vs size. We are definitely going to take advantage of daycare a couple times a month.  We trialed boarding out when my husband and I did weekend trips away. It was super successful and you can even watch your dog on camera throughout the time spent there. He was super playful the first day, enjoyed a cage free puppy sleepover, and didn’t want to leave on the third day. They offer many add ons, such as extra treats, peanut butter filled kongs, one on one attention, exercising, book readings, and baths before going home. It was definitely reasonable and a loving environment to ease anxiety while away from your pet.  Stephy is Barx Parx’s dog trainer and she has been amazing. She’s really training the humans to not sabotage their progress. Haha. Edamame has been trained in the past and he can do all the basic commands, which it shows. He has done sessions paired with another puppy for more intermediate training. He is starting to learn to decrease excitement jumping, focus, follow, touch, leave it, down from standing position, and better leash walking to not pull. Edamame recently graduated and continues to excel on things he’s learned.  Edamame was looking for a new groomer, and now that he has built good rapport and loves Barx Parx, we trialed out grooming this weekend. Everyone is raving about how good he looks. The groomer, Vanessa really listened to my concerns, past experiences, and what we wanted done. She took it slow and allowed him breaks especially when he couldn’t sit still. When he did not like the sound of the tap or the blow dryer, she backed off. Shibas are a tough and stubborn breed, but they knew what to do to not show teeth and to continue building a beautiful relationship. He’s gone back to be groomed and each time is better and better.
