			It's tough to find a well rounded placed that offers so many things and takes good care of your dog…. read moreIt's tough to find a well rounded placed that offers so many things and takes good care of your dog. But we hit the jackpot with Barx Parx. Plus, with a LV summer coming up, this is the spot. Barx Parx offers social hours, Friday happy hours, in-door park, day care, boarding, training, and even grooming. They offer memberships for the in-door park, which gives you discounts on the other amenities. Your dog has to do a behavior assessment to determine if they would be a good fit and are not aggressive with other dogs. Once that's completed, your dog is good to go coming to the in-door part where you can hangout and play with your dog. We did the second assessment, where you leave your dog for two hours and they see how they do independently, which determines if it's a good fit for daycare and boarding. Once passing the initial assessment, your dog is given a seven consecutive day pass to use at the park. When you walk in, you and your dog are instantly greeted by a very welcoming staff. They check to see if your dog is feeling well and has any mouth sores. Everyone has been so nice to Edamame and gives him a lot of love and attention. 
Edamame used his free week pass at the dog park. There is a big dog and a small dog section. He was allowed to go in both sides. Edamame loved playing with the big dogs and got more comfortable as the week went on. The staff is attentive to the dogs' needs, keeps every dog in line, makes sure every dog is playing well together, picks up their poop, and offers water and treats. 
Daycare is a good option when you have long days at work. It allows your dog to keep occupied and enjoy their day without being cooped up at home or in a crate. Dogs are grouped by personalities vs size. We are definitely going to take advantage of daycare a couple times a month. 
We trialed boarding out when my husband and I did weekend trips away. It was super successful and you can even watch your dog on camera throughout the time spent there. He was super playful the first day, enjoyed a cage free puppy sleepover, and didn't want to leave on the third day. They offer many add ons, such as extra treats, peanut butter filled kongs, one on one attention, exercising, book readings, and baths before going home. It was definitely reasonable and a loving environment to ease anxiety while away from your pet. 
Stephy is Barx Parx's dog trainer and she has been amazing. She's really training the humans to not sabotage their progress. Haha. Edamame has been trained in the past and he can do all the basic commands, which it shows. He has done two sessions paired with another puppy for more intermediate training. He is starting to learn to decrease excitement jumping, focus, follow, touch, leave it, down from standing position, and better leash walking to not pull. 
Edamame was looking for a new groomer, and now that he has built good rapport and loves Barx Parx, we trialed out grooming this weekend. Everyone is raving about how good he looks. The groomer, Ray really listened to my concerns, past experiences, and what we wanted done. She took it slow and allowed him breaks especially when he couldn't sit still. When he did not like the sound of the tap or the blow dryer, she backed off. Shibas are a tough and stubborn breed, but they knew what to do to not show teeth and to continue building a beautiful relationship. read less		 – 6/04/2023

They have live cams you can check and I love seeing my buddy running around with other 4-legged buddies! The Barx Rangers' wonderful customer service and friendliness always gives me a peace of mind that he's in the right hands. Big shoutout to Aurora and Tyler who made the sign-up process so easy!
Even though I live across town from this place, I chose this place instead of nearby daycares as they're the only daycare as far as I know that has a pick up past 9p.
Another thing I like is I can text for an appointment, which is awesome cuz I hate talking on the phone like every other millennial.
I'm a first time dog owner and I've only had Shiro for a month, but Barx Parx has helped so much in helping adjust to this new aspect of my life. read less		 – 5/21/2023

We've been actively coming here for the indoor dog park and daycare for almost 4 months now. Scheduling for daycare is very easy as all I do is text them and they respond very quick! The staff is incredibly friendly and I can see they love what they do. The relationship they have with all of the dogs in the yards are amazing. They know everyone's names and behaviors. This is why I trust BP with my dog! 
I've attended a few member events and happy hours which really makes me appreciate the community they foster with not just the dogs but the pup parents too! I would totally recommend coming out here with your pup. read less		 – 4/21/2023

			Absolutely love taking my dog there! She has been going for over a year and it makes me SO HAPPY… read moreAbsolutely love taking my dog there! She has been going for over a year and it makes me SO HAPPY to see her tail go crazy in the car when she realizes we are a block away. Everyone knows her name, so I know that they are engaging with her and give her all the attention her clingy butt needs.
Best things about it:
– Indoor Park to avoid the extreme heat or cold
– Webcam for when you miss your fur baby while they are at daycare or overnight
– Stephy (the trainer) is freaking amazing. We did a 6 week course with her and a couple of training sessions while she was boarding. My baby LOVES her and looks for her EVERY time we go to the park. She is very responsive to the homework and honestly Stephy trained me to be a better communicator with my girl. 
– When you get a premium membership they take photos of your dog at play and rest and are really good about responding to any concerns (my dog refuses to eat..)
The Not So Best things about it:
– As a previous post said, it can get a little stinky/stale in there but they're dog the best they can with air purifiers and fresheners. And they are constantly cleaning and disinfectants are available 
– The price for Grooming is higher than other places (I could be wrong but I think it's $64/hr and they will quote what they estimate the timing to be) but Ray is AWESOME!!! She does it as an all inclusive (nail trim, teeth brushing, cut, blowout, ear trim) so it might make sense for some people!! I get compliments all the time and send them to her because she is super good at what she does and listens to what you ask for read less		 – 4/15/2023

Every staff member has been fantastic. I would name names, but every single person we’ve encountered has been great. They really pay attention to make sure the mix of dogs in each yard are capable of playing well together. The care I’ve seen them take with the dogs is truly special.  I appreciate the screening process of the dogs before they enter the facility. I HIGHLY recommend Barx Parx for both boarding and play for your dogs. read less		 – 4/12/2023
