Dog grooming at Barx Parx utilizes positive reinforcement like our other services including training and sleepover style boarding. Positive reinforcement grooming means a reduced-stress, painless grooming experience that your pup can genuinely enjoy and is never pushed past their comfort zone for.

Grooming salons most frequently use cage dryers but you won’t find cage dryers at Barx Parx. Cage dryers can be stressful and even dangerous for dogs because they are in an enclosed space with a loud dryer.  Barx Parx uses hand drying which is unusual in the grooming industry because it takes longer than other methods and requires simultaneous brushing.

By associating grooming with supervised play in the indoor dog park, your dog will be excited to come to Barx Parx.

The Barx Parx facility is designed to reduce stress from the moment your dog enters our facility to the sights and sounds while they are receiving their groom. They will receive a 1:1 groom and be with the same person the whole time, helping them remain calm and comfortable.

Duration and pricing varies for all grooming services. Free 15-minute in-person consultations are available for all new Barx Parx grooming pups. Membership not required, but Plus members receive 10% off all services and Standard members receive 5% off all services.
