Took our two morkies to be groomed here last week. Vanessa was wonderful with them and took her time with them so they felt comfortable in a new environment. The pups cut and shampoo came out beautiful! This is our NEW permanent groomer from now on!

I’d like to give a shout-out to the grooming team, Vanessa and Sandra, for taking care of my extremely timid doxie BB. My consult with Vanessa was extremely thorough and I felt very comfortable knowing that Bieb’s stress level would be monitored closely when we decided to move forward with her groom that day.
The owner, Jen, and Sandra kept me updated every step of the way during the grooming process and Biebs had an incredibly successful first groom!
I sincerely appreciate that it was an experience specifically with MY dog’s needs in mind- not just churning her through as fast as possible. She got to chill with Jen in the office until Vanessa was ready for her and was given multiple breaks to relax and acclimate to everything!
I’ll definitely be bringing her back in the future!

If you need a goon Vanessa and her assistant took the time with my baby for her grooming. My dog suffers from extreme anxiety and she broke up her groom into sessions so it wasn't too overwhelming for her. When she felt my dog had enough, she stopped and had us come back another day. She cares for her clients and is amazing! Very impressed with her grooming skills and Barx Parx!

The grooming at Barx Parx is more than a step above any other place I have
used in 14 years of living here. I currently own an 8 month old rough Collie.
She is big and beautiful and the girls here do such a wonderful job with her.
She loves going to the groomer! That's like you loving to go to the dentist. I took her to a local big box store groomer where I had taken
my Papillons until their deaths and was told she was unruly and too hard
to handle by a male groomer. The girls at BP say she is sweet and easy to handle. These girls really know what they are doing and I would highly
recommend them to anyone for any kind of dog.

It is no exaggeration to say that Barx Parx is the best thing that has ever happened to our pup (well, other than being adopted by us, of course!). Our boy is a rescue who was abandoned more than once and was returned to the shelter by a previous adopter. When we brought him home 5 years ago, he didn't know how to "dog." Flash forward to Barx Parx! I was so excited to see that an indoor dog park was opening so close to home. We made an appointment for a behavior assessment ASAP and bought a membership a few days later. I'll be honest, we didn't go very often at first. But a little over a year ago, we started sending our boy to daycare on a regular basis. We quickly watched him blossom and become interested in other dogs. We'd even occasionally catch him playing when we'd watch him on the park cam! Nothing makes him happier than going to BP to see his furiends and hooman friends. Our laid back boy practically leaps out of the car when he realizes where we are and he prances around the park in pure joy all day. Just as important as how happy he is to be there is how loved he is there. Jen and her staff treat him like he's one of their own. When I brought him back after keeping him home for a few months at the beginning of COVID, everyone's excitement to see him again was palpable. Recently, he was diagnosed with arthritis. Within less than an hour of my emailing Jen to let her know, she had set up a detailed daily play/rest schedule for him and made sure that all of the staff was updated. There is so much more I could share about this business, but suffice it to say that Barx Parx is such a special place with the most amazing staff. Oh, and they have the best doggo groomers ever!!! And the fact that it's woman-owned and female staffed? Girl power bonus! We love you ladies!!!!

They recently added grooming! And man it's awesome. My boys have always loved going for daycare and park hours but now they can get groomed there too. Vanessa and Sandra listen to what you want for your dogs grooming and do what you asked. And my dogs don't hesitate to go get groomed! That's a big plus! Oh. And Friday happy hour is back. Woo hoo! Barx Parx is not just a place you bring your dogs. Barx Parx is a family of dog loving people. At Barx Parx you can play with your dog, meet other people with their dogs, get your dog groomed, self wash your dog, leave your dog for doggy daycare and much more. We love going to play and attending the parties. We also did level one and two agility class and had a blast. This is not just an awesome place for dogs, it's an awesome place for the owners too. We have met amazing dogs and their humans!!! Highly recommend Barx Parx for all dog loving people.

We have only been a handful of times but Koa loves it! Whenever we pull up he knows where he is and can't wait to get inside. The staff is well trained with dogs and shows their love for animals at every turn. Great place to escape the heat while getting the exercise and socialization your pup needs. The other dog parents are always nice and super friendly just like the dogs! The place is 21+ so feel free to grab a drink and make a friend yourself. I did! You have to go through an assessment with your dog and confirmation of vaccinations prior to being accepted. Might seem like a bit much to some but it is always good to know my dog is safe. Oh, and they have a self wash area so you can prolong that trip to the groomers. I don't know about you but I say having that option is nice. Beats using the tub!
Haven't utilized daycare or boarding yet but I would be more than happy to leave Koa with them. I would have the piece of mind to know he is having fun and is well taken care of.
