Intermediate Academy is a six week semi-private group training class designed for pups with familiarity with cues and have an establish trust with their handler. Puppy Academy, Beginner Academy or relevant skills are a prerequisite. As with all classes at Barx Parx, this is a positive reinforcement class. Your Barx Parx membership discount applies to this class. Graduates of Intermediate Academy advance to Advanced Academy.

INTERMEDIATE ACADEMY:

While treats are initially used as positive reinforcement, our trainers employ strategic techniques to gradually reduce their frequency, encouraging your dog to obey cues out of genuine respect and understanding. This process not only strengthens the bond between you and your pet but also cultivates a sense of independence and self-discipline in your furry friend. Led by our team of Certified Positive Reinforcement trainers, our academy offers a supportive learning environment where every dog receives individualized attention and guidance.
