			We took our boy Yogy for boarding over the holiday. He was not able to stay 24 hrs because he was just too stressed but this was not due to Barx Parx. They reached out to me within a couple of hrs after drop off and explained what was happening. They were willing to still work w/him and keep him overnight but I chose to have my sister pick him up instead. They were really caring and their number one priority was Yogy’s well being. The fact that I can watch him through the cameras is a huge plus but I wouldn’t have known how bad his stress level was if it wasn’t for the team’s attentiveness. 			The dog trainer Stephy Gonzalez is top tier! She is one of the few certified trainers in LV and that shows through her skills and dedication. We recently rescued a puppy and knew she would need some training and support. Thankfully we found Stephy because it changed everything for us. Our dog is even doing better with our elderly cat since completing the training academy 1.  We can’t wait to enroll in academy 2 and even plan on enrolling our older pup to help strengthen his training and skills. So appreciative of Stephy		 – 10/18/2025

			Love that the team has process in place to ensure pets are comfortable and safe.
Unfortunately, I left my pup here and she just circled the pen the entire time. She was so anxious she escaped at one point and they had to reign her back in. I wasn’t told about any of this – I just happened to see it all on camera. Since she wasn’t having a good time for the short 2 hours we left her we brought her back home and cancelled our membership. 			Stephanie, our dog trainer has helped us tremendously with our 1 1/2 year old Cane Corso, Soraya. 
We sent Soraya to a 6 week training camp in Utah. When she returned, we discovered she still needed a lot of work which was challenging for us. After doing some reading, we decided to use a prong color as it was advised by many owners of Mastiiffs. We felt bad about having to use one, but  were desperate and in love with Soraya. While it seemed she responded to the collar regarding not pulling, her other puppy habits did not improve. We met Stephanie through Barx Parx. She was against prong collars except in special cases and told us why. We immediately ceased using the prong collar and were surprised when Soraya began pulling again. She had learned absolutely nothing. She only responded to the collar because it was uncomfortable and likely painful. We felt horrible. Stephanie quickly took over training not only Soraya but us. It was definitely a great match! Stephanie is gentle, but firm, and she has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her communication skills are excellent, and Soraya immediately responded to her. She taught us how to train Soraya with high praise, high reward treats and lots of love. Soraya quickly responded to the training. Positive reinforcement was the key; not a prong collar nor an E Collar which we also had tried. Soraya no longer pulls, sits and stays until commanded to do so. Further, Soraya does not eat her food until given permission and understands “down” for lay down. She also sits and stays at bottom or top of stairs until we signal her to come. These are just some of the examples. This training experience relieved us of so much anxiety and stress. We just wanted to love and enjoy Soraya and now we do as Stephanie has instilled confidence in us all. Thank you, Stephanie for sharing with us your magic and yourself with us.		 – 9/17/2025

			I was so impressed with the class we took with dog trainer Stephy.  I have a golden retriever so people know how clingy they are and want to please. I was having issues with her destroying things.  Once this amazing trainer Stephy told me we need to have a tired brain it all clicked into place..  tired mine tired dog!!! 			You walk in there and you’re just hit with a super strong smell of urine. I know it’s a doggy daycare and boarding center and it has a very friendly staff, but it doesn’t give you a good first impression.		 – 8/23/2025
