My anxious girl is coming out of her shell after attending several days at the dog park. The staff here know her name, give her love and she's comfortable going up to them for pets.
She, my dog of course, seems to know a few of the other pups so she will wag her tail and sniff to say hi to them.
The pups are screened well and watched when they are in the pay area if they are at daycare or in boarding. A few regulars when we are there so of course I go to pet everyone, Nashville goes because she needs to make friends, it's a win-win for both of us
There's a 7 day free dog park trial, bring your pup, try it out. You and your pup will love it. It's everything you want in 1 spot, park, daycare, boarding, grooming, training. Fridays they have a happy hour for you and pups can play with their friends.
You won't be disappointed. Pups of all sizes are there.

It's tough to find a well rounded placed that offers so many things and takes good care of your dog. But we hit the jackpot with Barx Parx. Plus, with a LV summer coming up, this is the spot. Barx Parx offers social hours, Friday happy hours, in-door park, day care, boarding, training, and even grooming. They offer memberships for the in-door park, which gives you discounts on the other amenities. Your dog has to do a behavior assessment to determine if they would be a good fit and are not aggressive with other dogs. Once that's completed, your dog is good to go coming to the in-door part where you can hangout and play with your dog. We did the second assessment, where you leave your dog for two hours and they see how they do independently, which determines if it's a good fit for daycare and boarding. Once passing the initial assessment, your dog is given a seven consecutive day pass to use at the park. When you walk in, you and your dog are instantly greeted by a very welcoming staff. They check to see if your dog is feeling well and has any mouth sores. Everyone has been so nice to Edamame and gives him a lot of love and attention.
Edamame used his free week pass at the dog park. There is a big dog and a small dog section. He was allowed to go in both sides. Edamame loved playing with the big dogs and got more comfortable as the week went on. The staff is attentive to the dogs' needs, keeps every dog in line, makes sure every dog is playing well together, picks up their poop, and offers water and treats.
Daycare is a good option when you have long days at work. It allows your dog to keep occupied and enjoy their day without being cooped up at home or in a crate. Dogs are grouped by personalities vs size. We are definitely going to take advantage of daycare a couple times a month.
We trialed boarding out when my husband and I did weekend trips away. It was super successful and you can even watch your dog on camera throughout the time spent there. He was super playful the first day, enjoyed a cage free puppy sleepover, and didn't want to leave on the third day. They offer many add ons, such as extra treats, peanut butter filled kongs, one on one attention, exercising, book readings, and baths before going home. It was definitely reasonable and a loving environment to ease anxiety while away from your pet.
Stephy is Barx Parx's dog trainer and she has been amazing. She's really training the humans to not sabotage their progress. Haha. Edamame has been trained in the past and he can do all the basic commands, which it shows. He has done two sessions paired with another puppy for more intermediate training. He is starting to learn to decrease excitement jumping, focus, follow, touch, leave it, down from standing position, and better leash walking to not pull.
Edamame was looking for a new groomer, and now that he has built good rapport and loves Barx Parx, we trialed out grooming this weekend. Everyone is raving about how good he looks. The groomer, Ray really listened to my concerns, past experiences, and what we wanted done. She took it slow and allowed him breaks especially when he couldn't sit still. When he did not like the sound of the tap or the blow dryer, she backed off. Shibas are a tough and stubborn breed, but they knew what to do to not show teeth and to continue building a beautiful relationship.

We use the dog park regularly and our fur baby always has a great time. We love all the doggos we get to pet and interact with. The staff is always great with the dogs and the place is clean and well cared for. We did dog training there too and it was a big help.

I've brought my year old dachshund Sunny here for doggy daycare, boarding and obedience training (our trainer Megan was amazing!) since he was a puppy. The staff are always excited to see him walk in the door, and I've always felt he was well cared for and safe while I was away. I also loved having Sunny's photo taken when they offered special portraits. I cannot recommend Barxparx enough, they are a great company and the only place I trust with my pup.

We had called barx parx to get a good quote and information on private training for our new pup who has poor socialization with other dogs and lacks some basic obedience skills which has left my boyfriend and i overwhelmed and not knowing what to do. My mother recommended barx parx training so i contacted them right away and got a call back within a day to set up a consultation. We just finished with our consultation with Keelin today which is why i'm writing this review. Going in my boyfriend and i were VERY nervous because our pup unfortunately has poor social skills with other animals so going into a place full of dogs had us tightly strung and we were worried Oakley would be too much for them to train. At no point did Keelin make us feel like our dog was untrainable, too much, or too overwhelming. She eased our nerves and reassured us continually that they could help us and our pup. My boyfriend and i left that place full of hope for the first time in a month and we are so looking forward to training with them to help our pup have a better life! Thank you for being kind and professional!

Love this place & all of the employees! My dogs are so excited to go & they have the best time. It’s a super friendly place that is safe for my senior dog & my puppy to play. Stephy the trainer is AMAZING. I Can tell that everyone there only wants the best for my dogs & they truly care about every dog that enters the door.
