Using basic obedience techniques, dogs and their pet parents will learn how to successfully execute various obstacles in an agility course like weaves, hurdle jumps, hoop jumps, tunnels and more. Attending dogs must have already mastered name recall (with distractions), “sit” and “down”.

Some dogs require lots of exercise to burn excess energy, and running through an obstacle course is a great way to do just that. The athletic challenge keeps a dog fit, helps prevent obesity, increases endurance, and strengthens bones and joints. Plus, an agility course exercises a dog’s mind, giving opportunities to learn and solve problems.

The human member of the agility team guides the dog using verbal cues and hand signals, open communication and focus is essential. Agility is a wonderful way to increase the bond and trust between dog and pet parent. As your pup dog relies on you for guidance on the course, he or she also becomes more obedient and well-behaved off the course.

This 6-week long force free, positive reinforcement agility training class is only $55 per class for Basic Members ($329.95 total)!

As with all Barx Parx services, additional membership discounts for Standard and Plus Members.

What does semi-private mean? Maximum of 3-5 dogs per class!
